Both batteries use innovative terminal-free cell technology, while conventional batteries are based on multi-contact cells, where only two connection points are used to transmit current. This creates a bottleneck that increases the battery's resistance. Terminal-free battery technology solves this bottleneck. Instead of just two current channels, the battery has countless parallel current channels. Result: lower resistance, exceptionally long operating time and maximum power.
The reinforced housing, excellent COOLPACK 2.0 heat management and terminal-free cell technology ensure a long service life for the EXBA18V-80 battery, so the battery is well suited for professionals who value durability and performance.
When using EXAL18V2-320 or EXAL18V-160 charging devices, the charging temperature range of the EXBA18V-80 battery is extended: –10 °C to +55 °C (battery temperature).
The battery has a 5-LED indicator that shows the charge status and remaining capacity and detects the risk of failure.
