The electronic KickbackStop counteracts the dangerous twisting of the wrist in the opposite direction in the event of unexpected jamming or blocking of the drill and thus ensures greater safety at work.

QUADRIVE – 4 gears, suitable for every use
1st gear: Precise screwing in of up to 10 mm screws.
2nd gear: Fast screwing up to 8 x 300 mm screw sizes.
3rd gear: High-performance drilling up to 20 mm with auger drills.
4th gear: Fast drilling up to 35 mm with medium and small drills, e.g. cylinder drills.

CENTROTEC tool chuck – to get the job done even faster on the construction site
To change drilling and screwing aids in a flash: The CENTROTEC tool chuck known since 2001 is a drill chuck and bit holder two in one. It is twice as small and 80% lighter than standard drill chucks: a true Festool invention with the usual Festool quality.

Newest generation of brushless EC-TEC motors
The brushless EC-TEC motor does not wear during operation and uses the energy of the batteries almost without loss to achieve optimal power.
In addition, the electronic motor management system ensures an extremely long service life: Microprocessors control and regulate temperature, voltage, and the power consumption of the motor, electronics, and battery.
