Crimping is a job that requires high precision. The crimping profile and crimping force must be precisely adapted to the connectors and cables used in order to create a permanently mechanically and electrically safe connection.

Knipex PreciForce series pliers combine a light and compact design with a lever mechanism that increases manual force and precision in the crimping profile. The result is a handy tool that applies exactly the right amount of pressure to the connector to be connected.

Relief when crimping thanks to an integrated lock that ensures the ideal crimping force

Thanks to the integrated lock, Knipex PreciForce pliers themselves measure the necessary manual force. The pliers are optimally set (calibrated) from the factory. The integrated lock prevents the pliers from opening prematurely before the set upper limit has been reached by manual force. When the desired crimping force is reached, the lock automatically releases, allowing the user to fully focus on crimping. If necessary, the lock can be released and the crimping force adjusted.

Each pliers model in the Knipex PreciForce series has a specially processed crimping profile for a specific application: one special pliers, one application. Knipex PreciForce pliers are made of high-quality chrome-vanadium electrical steel and oil-hardened.
