Adjustment is easy: turn the gear wheel to open the jaws, place the wrench on the pipe, press the inner handle, turn the gear wheel again - done! The tool is infinitely adjustable to fit the user's hand and the workpiece in all permitted dimensions. With a slight pressure on the handle, the wrench automatically locks onto the workpiece according to the direction of rotation. This self-gripping mechanism makes applying high torque easy. To change the direction of rotation, the wrench must be turned over to maintain the self-gripping function.
