Batteries and chargers for this product
The Bosch PRO GWS 18V-11 S is a cordless angle grinder with a 125 mm disc for light and medium-duty cutting and grinding tasks, such as maintenance, repair and finishing work. It can cut metal, stone, plastic and composite materials, brush metal and stone, and rough-grind metal. It can also drill dry into stone using a diamond core bit.
Its balanced design and 1100 W motor with optimized overload capacity make the tool versatile and durable. The six-stage speed control helps you select the right speed for the task: settings 4–6 are recommended for grinding stainless steel, and setting 6 for rough-grinding metal and cutting stone.
The thinner and longer anti-vibration auxiliary handle helps you work more comfortably and reduce fatigue. Safety is enhanced by kickback shut-off, restart protection, a run-on brake and drop control. The run-on brake stops the disc within a few seconds. The drive head can be rotated in 90° increments to position the switch more conveniently for the working position.
The set includes two 18 V, 5,0 Ah batteries, a GAL 12V/18V-80 charger and an L-BOXX 136. The tool is compatible with Bosch GBA, ProCORE, EXPERT, EXBA and CORE 18 V batteries; for full power, the manual recommends a battery of at least 4,0 Ah. The charger automatically detects 10,8–18 V battery voltage and has a charging current of 8,0 A.
The tool is not intended for polishing or grinding stone materials with a diamond cup wheel. When cutting, use a cutting guard or a grinding guard with a cutting cover. Cut and grind stone dry, and use adequate dust extraction when cutting. Check that the accessory’s permitted rotational speed is equal to or higher than the tool’s speed. The quick-locking nut included in the set is suitable for grinding and cutting discs up to 125 mm.
