Batteries and chargers for this product
The Bosch PRO GBH18V-36 is a compact SDS-max cordless rotary hammer for drilling and chiselling in confined spaces. It is suitable for HVAC work, electrical installations, and foundation and construction work, among other applications. The tool weighs 5,3 kg without the battery.
Adjustable speed and soft start help you control the tool precisely. Choose 100% or 70% power mode for the task. During chiselling, ASC reduces the speed at idle and increases it when resistance from the material is detected. Vario-Lock lets you set the chisel to different positions, while the lock button supports prolonged chiselling. The LED light improves visibility in dimly lit and enclosed spaces.
KickBack Control reduces the risk of kickback if the bit jams, while Vibration Control helps reduce vibration-related strain. The overload clutch disengages the drive to the drilling spindle if the accessory jams. Free a jammed accessory before restarting the tool.
For hammer drilling in concrete, the maximum drilling diameter is 35 mm. In masonry, a 40–90 mm hollow core bit can be used in a separate drilling mode. The tool is compatible with GBA 18V, ProCORE18V, EXPERT18V, EXBA18V and CORE18V batteries. For full power, the manual recommends a ProCORE18V or EXPERT18V battery of at least 5,5 Ah. Compatible charger series are GAL18, GAL 18, GAL 36, GAL12V/18, GAX 18V and EXAL18V. Performance is limited at temperatures below 0 °C.
Clean the tool holder after use. Before installing a new accessory, clean the part that fits into the holder and lightly lubricate it. Replace the dust cap if damaged. The kit includes an XL-BOXX, a grease tube and an auxiliary handle.
