Bosch cordless rotary hammer GBH18V-36

The Bosch PRO GBH18V-36 is an 18 V SDS max cordless rotary hammer for drilling and chiselling in concrete, stone and masonry. Its 7 J impact energy makes it suitable for demanding work. The tool weighs 5,3 kg without the battery.

Speed control and soft start help you guide the tool more precisely. EPC supports smooth starting when drilling, while ASC adjusts the rotation speed during chiselling: it reduces the speed at idle and increases it when resistance in the material is detected. You can choose between 100% and 70% operating modes. KickBack Control and Vibration Control help reduce the risk of kickback and the strain caused by vibration. The LED light improves visibility in dimly lit and enclosed spaces.

Vario-Lock lets you select the chisel position; the chisel can be locked in 16 positions. The set includes two EXBA18V-80 batteries and an EXAL18V-160 charger. The charger has Standard, Power Boost and Long Life charging modes.

The tool uses SDS max accessories. Accessories can be fitted and removed without additional tools.

The EXAL18V-160 charger charges Bosch lithium-ion batteries of at least 1,3 Ah and batteries from AMPShare partners; the battery voltage must be compatible with the charger. The charging temperature for EXBA18V batteries is –10 to +55 °C.

The operating temperature is –20 to +50 °C. Below 0 °C, the tool’s performance is limited.

To reduce dust, you can use a suitable dust extraction accessory and vacuum cleaner. The manual recommends a 35 mm hose and a vacuum cleaner with a vacuum pressure of at least 230 mbar and an airflow of at least 36 l/s.

Counterclockwise rotation is used to release the accessory from the workpiece.

Clean the tool holder after each use. Replace a damaged dust cap immediately.

The charger can be used upright on a table or hung on a wall. The distance between the wall-mounting holes is 86 mm.
