Festool Splinter Guard FS-SP 5000/T

The splinter guard prevents edge splintering, even with angled cuts, and allows the guide rail to be placed precisely on the marking. To ensure this permanently, the splinter guard must be regularly replaced.
Cut without splintering, the rubber edge presses the material directly at the cutting edge and thereby reduces material splintering.
Since the splinter guard is cut into during the first use, it reflects the exact cutting edge, which allows the device to be placed precisely on the marking.
The spare splinter guard is self-adhesive and easy to cut to size.
