Splinter guard for cuts with minimal tear-out on both sides.

The splinter guard is installed above the viewing window and allows for tear-free cuts on the right side of the saw blade. A cut is made into the installed splinter guard with the machine running, and it is thus precisely adjusted to the saw blade. The height of the splinter guard can be adjusted, so it can be used for cutting with or without a guide rail.
