The special vacuum cleaner CTM 48 EC/B22 with EC-TEC drive is prepared for continuous use.
The strong ABS plastic container is equipped with additional flame protection and is therefore suitable for the safe removal of aluminum, paper, soot and powder paint dust up to glass and carbon fiber reinforced plastics.
Thanks to the powerful, durable and brushless EC-TEC motor and the huge 48 l container, the CLEANTEC CTM 48 LE EC/B22 is ideal for use in industry. Its large container geometry offers maximum volume. It is also extremely mobile with its swivel guide rollers, rear wheels and push handle. To improve the capacity of the dust container, a flat filter is integrated into the suction head: in this way, the gross and net capacity of the container are almost equal.
An extremely compact and extremely powerful turbine ensures a suitable suction power. 3900 l/min of suction flow ensures clean air. For M-class dust.
Allowed to be used in zone 22
Complies with the ATEX directive 2014/34/EU for zone 22 – safe removal of dry and flammable dust from machines and tools
Safe to the last detail
The retractable socket and the design without recesses reduce the possible risk of accumulation of explosive dust.
Reliable. Long life. Strong
EC-TEC stands for the carbon brush-free, wear-free Festool drive concept – maintenance-free, durable and long-lasting.
High suction power
Extremely strong, compact and light: the high-performance turbine offers significantly more suction power and requires little space.
Tear-resistant fleece filter bag
The fleece filter bags clean themselves by collapsing when switched off. This SELFCLEAN effect ensures a consistently high suction power until full.
Safe for transport
The parking brake ensures a firm hold. Large wheels for stability. The rotating wheels and their material are low-wear. Thanks to the balanced center of gravity, the vacuum cleaner is easy to carry.
Large capacity
The filter bag can be freely unfolded thanks to the flat filter and the smooth inner contour of the container. This allows the filter bag to be filled evenly and the filter bag volume to be used almost 100%.
For M dust class dust
The vacuum cleaner can be used for dusts of dust class M. It is suitable for removing harmful dusts with limit values > 0.1 mg/m⊃3;. A large red sticker is attached to the vacuum cleaner, which provides information about the dust class.
Versatile
For dust, dirt and water. When sucking up water, LevelStop switches off the drive in a timely manner and the motor remains protected. The wet filter can be used with just a few simple steps.
Antistatic function
Mobile vacuum cleaners and machines against the formation of static charge when working with the antistatic function.
Smooth antistatic suction hose
Thanks to the smooth outer coating, it slides over surfaces extremely smoothly
Electronic
Adjustable rotational speed for working suitable for the material.
FlowDetect
Health protection: volume flow control monitors the minimum air speed of 20 m/s and warns if the value is lower.

Integrated bayonet joint as a connecting element between the vacuum cleaner and the tool.
