Usage

Teeth construction
The teeth construction with variable 4–6 teeth per inch and a positive 10° tooth angle provides the following advantages. - Faster and more powerful cutting. - Better heat dissipation during cutting ensures that the teeth stay sharp longer. - Deeper curved tooth gaps ensure more efficient chip clearance, preventing clogging and overheating. - The special tooth angle has a smaller chance of getting stuck in thin materials. - The saw teeth are alternately set to minimize snagging and wear. - Requires less feed pressure. This is achieved with powerful tooth geometry and favorable chip clearance, resulting in less force being applied during drilling.

Teeth material
Matrix II type high-quality high-speed steel is used to manufacture the teeth of the hole saw. Matrix II steel contains 8% cobalt, which allows the teeth to maintain their original hardness even at high working temperatures generated during metal cutting. - Bimetal construction: high-speed steel teeth are laser-welded to a high-alloy steel body. The teeth are then vacuum-hardened to a hardness of 65 HRC at a temperature of 600 °C to ensure maximum durability and service life. - Thanks to the high wear resistance of the Matrix II material, these hole saws are ideal for cutting hard and difficult-to-cut materials, such as stainless steel and acid-resistant steels, as well as softer materials, such as wood.

Hole saw body
The 1.27 mm thick steel hole saw body is rigid to maintain its shape, but also elastic.
The effective cutting depth is 41 mm.

Back wall construction
The back walls are made of thick steel, so the holes do not enlarge over time. Thick back walls add strength and rigidity, minimizing vibration. 4 drive chuck pin holes for easy shaft placement. Perfectly made round back wall, which is especially important for large diameter hole saws.

Diagonal slots help to remove and eject the core.
