I bought it because a rental company’s description of the same machine said it could also be used to clean flues. That’s what the filter-tapping function is for, after all. But... fine black soot still clogs the filter quickly. Luckily, the filter didn’t break during the first chimney cleaning and the job got done. I recommend buying a spare filter KFI 7420 6.415-953.0 There’s only one in the set.
