KNIPEX ACSR cable cutter 95 32 340 SR (ratchet mechanism): For cutting ACSR cables

ACSR cables (aluminum cables with steel core) pose special challenges to cable cutters. The KNIPEX ACSR cable cutter solves these tasks thanks to its handy, compact, and durable design.

Ideal for cutting ACSR cables

Overhead cables, used for example for connecting solar or wind parks, must be very electrically conductive, heat-resistant, and durable. ACSR cables meet these requirements, but cutting them is complicated. The KNIPEX ACSR cable cutter cuts them easily, including steel-core cables up to 32 mm in diameter. Thanks to the ratchet mechanism and two-stage gear transmission, a very high force transmission can be achieved with little effort.

Safety, ergonomics, and durability

Transport: During transport, the locking mechanism keeps the handles securely closed.
Comfortable grip: Two-component handles ensure a safe and comfortable grip for both one-handed and two-handed work.
Support: The cutter can be conveniently placed on the surface during cutting thanks to the fixed handle support.
