Small tool, big impact – those who are used to working with ordinary bolt cutters will appreciate how user-friendly the CoBolt 71 02 200 is. Thanks to its practical 200 mm size and a weight of less than 400 g, the strong compact bolt cutter is quickly ready for use and a powerful partner in demanding situations, such as working overhead. Even the hardest wire is not a problem, and they cut piano wire reliably up to 3.6 mm in diameter. Bolts, nails and rivets with a diameter of up to 6 mm (for soft material) are cut with maximum force and comfortable handling.

This high cutting performance comes from decades of engineering experience. Precision cutting edges are made of chrome-vanadium high-strength steel, induction-hardened, which ensures the highest cutting edge hardness. An efficient lever mechanism ensures an extremely favorable leverage ratio and at the same time a low coefficient of friction. The CoBolt increases the manual force applied to the handles by 35 times.

Microstructures for maximum cutting effect

Each cut hits the target immediately: microstructures on the cutting edges hold the material in the ideal position, allowing the CoBolt's leverage to fully take effect: one cut – done!

At the same time, the non-slip handles with multi-component handles are comfortable even for long-term use. Two materials of different hardness ensure optimal force distribution.

CoBolt can do more than just cut – it can also grip and pull

The ready-to-use gripping surface under the joint makes the Knipex CoBolt even more versatile. This function allows farmers, landscapers, forestry and garden workers and others to grip and pull wire: simply grab the wire with the gripping surface, hold the CoBolt like a T-iron and you can apply large pulling forces, such as tightening the wire from 1 mm in diameter.

In addition, the gripping surface can be used as a lever to remove twisted nails or staples – for example, in construction, drywall work, carpentry, garden construction or demolition work.
