Specially designed for precise and form-fitting stripping of difficult-to-remove insulation materials, including:
PTFE, silicone, Radox®, Kapton® and rubber – also suitable for multi-layer insulations.
A second pair of blades securely holds the remaining insulation, ensuring a clean and controlled stripping process.

Work division of two blade pairs ensures the desired result
Knipex 12 12 06 stripping pliers are specially developed for cables with very strong and hard insulation that must be almost completely cut through to be stripped at all. Two blade pairs cut the cable insulation around its circumference at the same time. The blades are designed and ground so that the cut is as close as possible to the conductor.
After cutting, one of the blades remains in place, securely holding the cut insulation, while the other pair of blades strips the insulation from the conductor.

For demanding materials
Insulation materials such as PTFE, silicone, Radox®, Kapton® and rubber are very resistant – resistant to heat and wear. Stripping them from the conductor requires precision and force, and a clean result is often impossible with conventional pliers.
Knipex 12 12 06 pliers allow even very tough insulation to be stripped precisely, reliably, and in a single time-saving motion.
The series also includes other models suitable for stripping multi-layer and fiber-reinforced insulations.
