Knipex expands the CoBolt® product range, now offering the 71 31 160 CoBolt® S bolt cutter with an additional notch in the cutting edge. This makes the cutting of round materials, such as bolts, rivets, and nails (up to Ø 4.4 mm), particularly efficient. Thanks to the increased force transmission near the joint, even the strongest materials, such as piano wire and spring steel, can be cut with one stroke.

In addition to the version with a notch, Knipex still offers the CoBolt® S model without a notch, which is ideal for cutting flat materials. Both models have a laser-marked cutting edge that prevents material slippage. The narrow pliers head ensures good access even in tight spaces. The textured gripping surface under the joint allows wires from 1 mm in diameter to be pulled – for example, in garden construction.

This compact bolt cutter is forged from chrome-vanadium steel and multi-stage oil-hardened, ensuring high durability. Its length of 160 mm makes the tool suitable even for small hands, and its weight of only 200 g allows it to be used comfortably over a longer period. The CoBolt® S is ideal for keeping in a pocket or tool bag, and the narrow and thin head ensures access to hard-to-reach places.
