Knipex Diagonal Cutters 180 mm

Versatile Diagonal Cutters, length 180 mm
A classic tool for the everyday craftsman.
The Knipex 180 mm diagonal cutters are a powerful and high-quality tool for demanding users.
From the shape of the head to the polishing and hardness of the cutting edges, the Knipex 70 01 180 is adapted for the daily cutting tasks of electricians and mechatronics engineers.

Strong and universal cutting ability

Their cutting ability extends up to Ø 2.5 mm hard wire (e.g., wire core) and up to Ø 4.0 mm soft wire (e.g., copper wire), offering a wide range of uses.
Long cutting edges make them excellent for cutting cables. Extremely carefully and precisely processed cutting edges allow for precise cutting of even very fine twisted wire up to the tips of the cutting edges.
This is a great advantage in tight spaces, for example, when it is necessary to shorten fine twisted wires in distribution boxes.
Durable and long-lasting
Knipex diagonal cutters are made of vanadium electric steel and reinforced with heat treatment and oil hardening.
For achieving cuts with lasting precision, we use high-frequency hardening on the cutting edges, resulting in a hardness of about 62 HRC.

Quick overview:

Versatile diagonal cutters (length 180 mm)
Cuts hard wire (e.g., wire core) up to Ø 2.5 mm and soft wire (e.g., copper wire) up to Ø 4.0 mm
Precise cut on fine copper wire, even with the tips of the cutting edges
Suitable for working in tight spaces due to the thin head shape
Manufactured to higher standards to ensure optimal work results and long service life
Induction-hardened cutting edges of about 62 HRC strength for durability and long life
Plastic-coated handles
Vanadium electric steel, forged, multi-stage oil hardening

Knipex diagonal cutters: precise cuts up to the tips of the cutting edges

The quality of diagonal cutters is shown by their cutting quality. Knipex diagonal cutters offer consistent high performance. In addition to high-quality forged metal parts made of vanadium electric steel, Knipex's main quality criteria include precise processing of tool steel produced in Germany. The material to be cut is cut cleanly. The length and sharpness of the Knipex 70 01 180 cutting blades are designed for high performance even in tight spaces. The high quality and hardness of the blades ensure a long life.
