Knipex Electronics Diagonal Cutter 115 mm

Additional laser-hardened cutting edges, blade hardness min 60 HRC
Blade hardness approximately 60 HRC
For fine cutting work, e.g., in electronics and precision mechanics
Optimized load for direct feel during work
Low-friction double spring for gentle and even opening
Narrow sleeves pulled up to the pliers head, allowing secure and comfortable guidance between thumb and index finger
Round head, slightly angled
Strong, zero-recoil box joint
Polished surface or mirror finish with thin oil film ensures effective rust protection – does not cause electrical interruptions due to chrome flaking

Precise cuts for fine wires and cables – also suitable for soft wires up to Ø1.6 mm

Small dimensions – high cutting capacity

Differs from traditional diagonal cutters used in domestic installations. This Knipex electronics diagonal cutter is a true precision tool. At 115 mm long and weighing 80 g, it is extremely compact and lightweight. Ideal for tight spaces, such as on printed circuit boards or precision devices.

The hardness of the cutting edges, approximately 60 HRC, allows cutting of soft wire up to Ø1.6 mm and hard wire up to Ø0.6 mm. The short pliers head offers a strong lever, making it ideal for transmitting the cutting edge force and manual force control.

Play-free box joint. High cutting quality and durability

The Knipex 77 02 115 electronics diagonal cutter has a smooth box joint, ensuring stability and precision. Both pliers handles are guided internally, preventing deflection. The rivets are only under shear force, ensuring higher quality cutting operations and longer service life. The cutting edges are also induction-hardened to about 62 HRC.

High Knipex quality standards and corrosion protection

The Knipex 77 02 115 electronics diagonal cutter offers impressive precision, functionality, and reliability. Ideal for sensitive electronic environments, such as working on printed circuit boards. Instead of a chrome coating, a mirror polish is used, which prevents corrosion and, combined with an oil layer, provides sufficient corrosion protection in the workshop.
