Knipex Electronics Diagonal Cutter 77 42 115

Additional laser-hardened cutting edges, blade hardness min 60 HRC
Blade hardness approx. 57 HRC
For fine cutting work, e.g. in electronics and precision mechanics
Optimized load for direct feel during work
Low-friction double spring for gentle and even opening
Narrow sleeves pulled up to the pliers head, allowing for secure and comfortable handling between thumb and index finger
Sharp tip, without bevel
Strong, zero-backlash box joint
Polished surface or mirror finish with thin oil film ensures effective rust protection – does not cause electrical interruptions due to chrome flaking

Precise cuts for fine wires and cables – up to Ø1.3 mm soft wires

Small dimensions – large cutting capacity

Unlike conventional home-use diagonal cutting pliers, the Knipex electronics pliers 77 42 115 are a true precision tool. With a length of 115 mm and a weight of 80 g, they are compact and light, ideally suited for tight spaces, such as circuit boards or precision mechanical devices. The cutting edge hardness is approximately 57 HRC, allowing cutting of soft wires up to Ø1.3 mm. The short pliers head ensures strong leverage, which is ideal for transmitting the cutting edge force and controlling manual force. Due to their design, these pliers are not suitable for hard wires.

Zero-play box joint. High cutting quality and durability

The Knipex 77 42 115 electronics pliers are equipped with a box joint that guides both sides of the pliers internally. This prevents the pliers from moving askew. They are oil-hardened and the cutting edges are induction-hardened, offering approximately 57 HRC hardness. The result is a high-quality cutting operation and a long tool life.

High Knipex quality standards and corrosion protection

The Knipex 77 42 115 electronics pliers meet the high requirements of precision and electronic work. Accuracy, functionality, and reliability are the main priorities. The mirror-polished surface together with a thin oil layer ensures corrosion protection without the use of a chrome coating, making them ideal for sensitive electronic environments.
