Knipex High Leverage VDE Diagonal Cutter, 180 mm

High leverage diagonal cutters for intensive and continuous use in the electrical industry

Reliable tools for professionals: durable, strong, and insulated

Thanks to their high cutting capacity and exceptional durability, the Knipex 74 06 180 high leverage diagonal cutters are highly valued among craftsmen and therefore in high demand.

The insulated model is ideal for electrical work, such as on construction sites, in industry, or during repair work. They are also excellent companions for mobile applications, as they cut hard materials without any problems despite their compactness.

With a length of only 180 mm, these cutters fit into most tool bags and boxes. The chrome coating adds durability to the tool, providing good protection against rust in outdoor conditions or when constantly kept in a service vehicle (in case of condensation due to temperature changes).

Lightweight, optimal ergonomics and geometry: 20% energy saving

Compared to conventional cutters of the same size, the Knipex 74 06 180 offers a better power and cutting capacity ratio. The geometry of the cutting edges, joint, and handles is optimized for maximum efficiency.

These cutters are perfect for continuous intensive use, such as assembly work or electrical installations, as the ergonomic design makes them comfortable to use. The comfortable design of the handles makes the work easier and more user-friendly. Insulated multi-component handles provide additional comfort.

With a strong forged joint and durable design, the cutters are extremely stable, yet light, weighing only 280 g.

Precise cutting of medium and hard wire and piano wire

The quality of good diagonal cutters is seen in cutting. Knipex high leverage cutters offer better performance. In addition to high-quality forged metal parts made of high-performance chrome-vanadium tool steel, an important quality criterion for Knipex cutters is precise processing.

The sharpness and angle of the cutting edges are designed for top performance. The excellent finish of Knipex cutters always ensures a clean and precise cut. The high quality of the tool steel produced in Germany, the hardness of the cutting edges, and the stability of the forged joint ensure exceptional durability and long service life.
