Holding, cutting, twisting, bending, and pulling with maximum efficiency

The Knipex Power Set consists of 02 01 180 high-performance combination pliers, 74 01 160 high-performance diagonal cutters, and Knipex Cobra 87 01 250 high-tech water pump pliers. This name is indeed justified, as the design and materials used make all three pairs of pliers extremely effective for gripping, holding, cutting, twisting, and locking. They are forged from carefully selected high-quality special steel, oil-hardened and assembled with modern processes to ensure a long service life and efficient work.

Diagonal cutters approximately 64 HRC, combination pliers cutting edge hardness approximately 63 HRC

The high cutting capacity of the high-performance diagonal cutters and combination pliers results from the fact that their cutting edges are induction-hardened to approximately 64 HRC and 63 HRC. Professional users know what these figures represent.

Thanks to the optimized high-performance transmission, the use of high-performance combination pliers requires 35% less hand force than conventional combination pliers. Gripping, holding, bending, cutting, pulling: with little hand force and high force on the component. Both pairs of pliers are forged from high-quality special steel.

Made of chrome-vanadium electric steel: high-tech water pump pliers

Knipex Cobra water pump pliers are forged from chrome-vanadium electric steel. The opening width is adjusted directly on the component: place the upper jaw on the component, press the button, pull the lower jaw to the component, release the button and the pliers are precisely adjusted. Fine adjustment allows the user to find a comfortable gripping position. Thanks to the self-locking effect, all hand force is directed into the twisting movement. The pliers are 250 mm long, which creates a large leverage, which is transferred to the components permanently and safely with the help of induction-hardened gripping teeth.
