Precision pliers for holding and installing small retaining rings.

In industry and craft, efficient processes are the key to success. Installation time = production time. Precision pliers save time. Professional tools, such as the Knipex 48 21 J01 precision retaining ring pliers, allow retaining rings to be installed and removed quickly and efficiently. Extremely stable, cold-formed tips firmly grasp the retaining ring's attachment loops and hold them securely on the pliers.

Extremely stable, integrated tips: long-lasting spring steel wire

The tips of the Knipex 48 21 J01 precision retaining ring pliers are unsurpassed in stability. They are made of high-density spring steel (piano wire), attached to the pliers, and sealed by cold forming. The contact surfaces under the tips and the outward-turned tips keep the retaining rings securely on the pliers.

90° angled plier head: easy access to and secure holding of retaining rings

The bolted joint of the Knipex 48 21 J01 precision retaining ring pliers allows more precise adjustment than riveted joints. This ensures smooth movement without play. The plier head is at a 90° angle, making it easy to access retaining rings even in difficult conditions.
