Insulated pliers for gripping, positioning and cutting

Long-nose pliers combine several special functions. They are suitable both for fine and precise guidance of workpieces and for firm gripping and powerful cutting of cables or wires. The cutting edges are designed for efficient cutting, which is similar to a diagonal cutter.

Thanks to the induction-hardened cutting edges (hardness ~61 HRC), Knipex 25 06 160 pliers can cut cables, soft and medium-hard wires, and also hard wires.

Stable long-nose pliers – strength in torsion and powerful cutting

Precision tips made of vanadium electric steel are flexible and resistant to torsion. Larger workpieces can be held firmly and smaller ones gently handled. Manual force is effectively transferred because the cutting edges are located close to the joint.

Cutting capacity:

Soft and medium-hard wire: Ø 2.5 mm
Hard wire: Ø 1.6 mm

Freedom of movement even in tight conditions – also suitable for live parts

The slim Knipex 25 06 160 long-nose pliers are ideal for electricians and installers. Thanks to the insulated handles, they are also suitable for working with live parts. The tapered shape allows easy gripping and holding of workpieces, wires and components. Chrome finish effectively protects against corrosion.
