KNIPEX TubiX® pipe cutter: fast and precise cutting with one hand on copper, brass and stainless steel pipes

Cut pipes easily: KNIPEX TubiX® pipe cutter – cuts pipes up to 35 mm in diameter and up to 2 mm wall thickness with extremely easy handling.

The KNIPEX TubiX® pipe cutter, 180 mm long, makes everyday work much easier. Pipes made of copper, brass and stainless steel with wall thicknesses up to 2 mm and diameters from 6 to 35 mm (1/4"–1 3/8") can be cut easily with one hand, without much effort. To achieve this, the tool has a QuickLock single-hand quick-set mechanism that independently guides and locks the cutter onto the pipe and precisely positions the cutting wheel for different pipe diameters. How it works: simply place the open TubiX® pipe cutter onto the pipe, then position and lock the cutting wheel onto the workpiece with the QuickLock single-hand quick-set mechanism. To cut the pipe, the tool must be rotated, and contact with the cutting edge can be freely adjusted using the ergonomic threaded part.

Added value through smart details

A practical deburring tool is integrated into the cutter head: it can be easily pushed out or completely removed if needed. The TubiX® cutting wheel is made of high-quality ball bearing steel, while the metal housing is made of light and robust magnesium. The spring-loaded cutting wheel with needle bearings is easily replaceable. A spare wheel is housed in the handle cap.

On the QuickLock pipe cutter: a real KNIPEX patent

The QuickLock single-hand quick-set mechanism (silver component with black clip in the middle of the illustration) is the core component of the KNIPEX TubiX® pipe cutter. When the black clip is pressed, the cutting wheel part can be quickly and precisely adjusted to any pipe diameter and automatically locks when released. The cutting wheel is spring-loaded, made of high-quality ball bearing steel and easily replaceable.
