Compact tool for big tasks

Precise cuts for thin wires, thick cables, and spring wire

The Knipex 73 02 160 X-Cut® offers excellent cutting performance thanks to the geometry of the cutting edges and high-quality chrome-vanadium tool steel. This tool effortlessly cuts both fine copper wire and thick, multi-strand cables up to 12 mm in diameter. The X-Cut cutting edges can also cut nails, garden wire, and spring wire (piano wire).

Great energy savings thanks to high power transmission ratio

A compact tool that saves energy. Thanks to the high power transmission ratio, the required force is about 40% less compared to conventional diagonal cutters of the same length. Light weight (175 g), compact length (160 mm), and large opening range make this tool an ideal choice for everyday tasks.

Durable and strong: box joint design with double guide

The box joint design of the Knipex X-Cut® pliers offers maximum stability. The handles of the pliers stabilize each other on the joint, which is installed on both sides. The edges of the inner handle of the pliers are guided from both sides, reducing the load on the joint.
