The Knipex 73 02 160 X-Cut® offers excellent cutting performance thanks to the geometry of the cutting edges and high-quality chrome-vanadium tool steel. This tool effortlessly cuts both fine copper wire and thick, multi-strand cables up to 12 mm in diameter. The X-Cut cutting edges can also cut nails, garden wire, and spring wire (piano wire).

The box joint design of the Knipex X-Cut® pliers offers maximum stability. The handles of the pliers stabilize each other on the joint, which is installed on both sides. The edges of the inner handle of the pliers are guided from both sides, reducing the load on the joint.
