LOCTITE® SF 7200 is designed to remove hardened chemical sealants by softening the material applied to the flanges.
After application, the product forms a wax-like layer on the sealant that prevents the agent from flowing away from the desired location. Thanks to this, it works for the intended time.
A common use is, among other things, the removal of all kinds of chemical sealants from metal flanges. It is especially suitable for aluminum or other soft metal flanges, where scraping could damage the surface.
