Powerful press jaws made of durable and specially hardened special steel
The pressing contour corresponds to the respective press fitting systems. This ensures ideal, system-compliant pressing.
The press jaws are manufactured on high-precision CNC production centers and have machine-rounded press profiles. Thanks to this, the tolerances allowed in manufacturing are smaller than those of cast press profiles.
Control according to EN 1775:2007 - REMS press jaws/REMS press jaws Mini/press rings (with M, V, SA, B, HR and UP press contour) have a special marking pressed in, which leaves a specific mark on the fitting after pressing. This also makes it possible to check later whether the correct press jaw/press ring was used to press the fitting.
With this traceability, REMS fulfills the recommendations of the European standard EN 1775:2007 for the installation of press fitting systems for gas. Example: REMS press jaws M: the "M" imprint on the pipe fitting for traceability according to EN 1775:2007.
