The press contour corresponds to the given press fitting systems. Thanks to this, ideal pressing corresponding to the system is ensured.
The press jaws of the press pliers are made on high-precision CNC production centers and have machine-rounded press profiles. Thanks to this, the tolerances allowed in manufacturing are smaller than in cast press profiles.

Control according to EN 1775:2007 - REMS press pliers/REMS press pliers Mini/press rings (with press contour M, V, SA, B, HR and UP) have a special marking pressed in, which leaves a specific mark on it after pressing the fitting. This makes it possible to check later whether the correct press pliers/press ring was used to press the fitting.
With this traceability, REMS fulfills the recommendations of the European standard EN 1775:2007 for the installation of press fitting systems for gas. Example: REMS press pliers M: the imprint "M" on the pressed pipe fitting for traceability according to EN 1775:2007.
