YATO cordless pipe cutter 18 V, max 50 mm, without battery and charger

The YATO cordless pipe cutter cuts PVC, PP, PU and PE pipes with a diameter of up to 50 mm and is suitable for installation, assembly and maintenance work.

The 18 V battery power allows you to work without a power cord, including in confined spaces and where mains power is unavailable.

The cutting cycle takes approximately 2,5 seconds.

Cutting blade and pipe support

The lower clamp stabilises the pipe, and the blade, which moves when the trigger is pressed, cuts through it.

The SK5 steel blade is coated with a PTFE layer and has a hardness of 53–57 HRC.

The PTFE coating reduces friction and makes it easier for the blade to move through the material.

Battery power and LCD display

The cutter uses an 18 V Li-Ion battery.

The following YATO 18 V batteries are compatible: models YT-828461 (2 Ah), YT-828462 (3 Ah), YT-828463 (4 Ah), YT-828464 (6 Ah) and YT-828465 (9 Ah).

The LCD display shows the battery charge level and operating parameters.

The control system also indicates fault conditions, such as activation of the overheat or short-circuit protection.

After a set period of inactivity, the device enters sleep mode and may then switch off automatically to reduce unnecessary energy consumption during work breaks.

Construction and storage

The housing is made of PA6, GF30 and TPE materials.

The tool has a handle, trigger, power activation button, moving blade, lower clamp, battery socket and LCD display.

After use, the blade can be moved to a safe, closed position for storage.
