YATO metal detector, max. detection depth 22 cm

The YATO metal detector is designed to find metal objects hidden in the ground, such as coins and jewellery, and detects objects up to a depth of 22 cm.

The 25 cm diameter search coil is suitable for searching in various terrain conditions.

The LCD screen displays the type of metal, a numerical identification value, signal strength, the approximate depth of the object, the set sensitivity and the battery charge level.

Search modes and PINPOINT

You can choose between four search modes.

ALL METAL detects different metals.

DISC allows you to exclude selected types of metal and reduce unwanted signals.

MEMORY searches based on a previously scanned sample.

JEWELRY is designed for searching for precious metals, such as coins and jewellery, and ignores most steel and iron objects.

PINPOINT helps you determine the location of a found object more precisely.

Metal detection and settings

The device distinguishes six types of metal: iron, nickel, aluminium, zinc, copper and silver.

The detected metal is indicated by a symbol and a numerical value in the range 01–99, and is accompanied by a low, medium or high tone.

The screen shows the approximate depth of the object on five levels.

Sensitivity can be adjusted in five steps and volume in three steps to adapt the device to the terrain and search conditions.

Display and ease of use

The backlit LCD screen makes it easier to use in low light.

The screen backlight switches off automatically after 10 minutes, and the device switches off after 15 minutes of inactivity.

The four-level battery charge indicator helps you monitor the battery level.

The handle length can be adjusted from 115–136 cm, and the ergonomic armrest supports more comfortable use during longer searches.

The detector is suitable for searching for coins, jewellery and other metal objects in recreational areas, on beaches, in meadows and in forests.

It can also be used for hobbyist historical research and fieldwork where metal parts need to be found in the ground.

It requires two 9 V 6F22 batteries, which are not included.
