Lisainfo

YT-2862 voltage monitor with LCD screen allows to determine the presence of alternating current (AC) voltage and to detect it by the induction method. The presence of voltage is indicated by the indicator displayed on the LCD screen, in the case of the contact method also by an LED light.

AC voltage detection by contact method: 12–250 V
AC voltage detection by induction method
The backlit LCD screen displays measurement results in ranges up to 12, 36, 55, 110 and 220
Light indicator (LED)

CONTACT METHOD
Place the tester tip on the active component. The screen displays the voltage values and the lighting of the LED indicates the presence of electric current. The indicator displays the highest voltage range and all lower ranges in the circuit being tested. For example, when measuring a 230 V household socket, the screen displays [12, 36, 55, 110, 220], which indicates a voltage of over 220 V.

INDUCTION METHOD
The method allows to detect AC voltage in an insulated wire. To do this, place your finger on the "Induction Test" field and bring the tip close to the insulated wire. The flash symbol appearing on the LCD screen indicates the presence of voltage. The method also allows to detect a break in an energized wire "without contact" - the tester no longer shows voltage at the break point.
